Since credit transfer reviews are conducted based on the similarity between the syllabus of the overseas course and that of NCCU’s general education courses, it is not possible to confirm in advance whether the credits can be successfully transferred before departure. If students wish to seek prior confirmation, they may contact the Center for General Education by email during the course selection period of their overseas exchange. When sending the inquiry, please attach both the syllabus of the NCCU general education course for which credit transfer is sought and the syllabus of the overseas course with similar content, so that the Center for General Education conduct a preliminary review.
If the result of the preliminary review indicates that the credits are transferable, students must still complete the course during the exchange period and obtain a passing grade. Upon formally applying after the exchange, students must submit their transcript and relevant documents in order for the credits to be transferred. For detailed application procedures, please refer to Credit Transfer of Overseas Exchange Credits to NCCU General Education Credits.
