Accredited self-directed learning is divided into three categories: social practice, academic exploration, and innovative implementation. There are no restrictions on methods, venues, or timeframes. Projects may involve participation in various on- or off-campus programs, extensions of what you have learned in courses, or subjects you wish to explore in greater depth. Each project must involve at least two participants. If you plan to carry out an accredited self-directed learning project, it is recommended that you first consult with a faculty member (or your class advisor), which will also facilitate smoother progress later on.
