Course Regulations
In accordance with the University’s Course Implementation Guidelines and Regulations for General Education Courses, the General Education Curriculum is divided into Language General Education, Common General Education, and College General Education.
- Language General Education includes Chinese Language General Education and Foreign Language General Education.
- Common General Education includes Humanities General Education, Social Sciences General Education, Natural Sciences General Education, and Informatics and Computing General Education.
Among these, Core General Education courses are designated under each domain of General Education, except for Informatics and Computing.

General Education Curriculum
- Students admitted in the 2020 academic year are required to complete 28 General Education credits for graduation.
- Students admitted before 2019 academic year and earlier must complete 28 to 32 General Education credits for graduation.

Core General Education
- Students admitted in 2019 academic tear or earlier must complete at least one Core General Education course in each of the following three domains: Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences.
- Students admitted from 2020 academic year onward must complete at least two Core General Education courses from two different domains among the three: Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences.
