2026 Summer College Course Selection Guidelines
I. General Course Selection Overview

Course Period: June 15 to August 20, 2026.

Course Information: Detailed information is available on the Official Website. Approved General Education (GE) courses and their corresponding categories for NCCU students are listed under Student Zone > Credit Recognition > National Chengchi University.

Fees: NT$700 per credit. For further details, please refer to the Registration Guidelines.

Registration Phases:

Phase 1 (Registration & Allocation): From April 29 (Wed) 10:00 AM to May 6 (Wed) 10:00 AM.

Phase 2 (First-Come, First-Served): From May 18 (Mon) 10:00 AM until two weeks before each course starts.

All registrations must be completed through the National Summer College Online System.

Required Documents:

Current Students: Upload student ID and proof of enrollment for the 2nd Semester of the 2025 Academic Year (114-2).

Incoming Freshmen: Upload the NCCU admission notice for identity verification.

II. Credit Recognition for NCCU Students
- Verification: Before selecting a course, confirm that it is eligible for NCCU credit recognition, check the number of credits awarded, and ensure your department is not excluded.
- Credit Limit: Per the “NCCU Domestic Inter-University Course Selection Regulations,” undergraduate and incoming freshmen may take a total of 6 credits maximum during the summer session.
- Application Deadlines (Incoming Freshmen): Incoming freshmen who complete approved GE courses must proactively apply for credit waiver at the Center for General Education before October 30 (Wed), 5:00 PM after formal enrollment. Late applications will not be processed.
- Transcript Recording (Current Undergraduates): Approved summer GE courses will be automatically recorded on the student’s official transcript once grades are received. No further action is required.
- Graduate Students: Credits earned by Master’s or Doctoral students will not be recognized or recorded on official transcripts.

Departmental Exclusions (IT Category): The following two courses—”Programming for Data Science” and “Operations Research: Models and Algorithms (EMI)”—will NOT be recognized for students from:

Land Surveying and Informatics Track (Dept. of Land Economics)

Department of Applied Mathematics

Department of Computer Science

International College of Innovation (Undergraduate Program)
