Review Schedule
Beginning in Academic Year 115, reviews of the common curriculum framework and of courses offered during the preceding three years shall be conducted concurrently every three years.

Review Criteria
The review comprises the following three key indicators.
1. Student-credit units offered and enrolled, with reference to the average for each domain.
2. Course teaching evaluation surveys and learning outcomes.
3. The operation of faculty teaching communities and course teaching teams.

Review Procedures:

1. Every three years, teaching units shall conduct a self-review against all indicators, prepare relevant supporting documentation, and submit the common curriculum framework for the following three years. Following approval by the curriculum committee of the relevant department, graduate institute, or college, or by a meeting at an equivalent level, the materials shall be submitted to the Center for General Education after the end of the semester (e.g., after the 117-2 semester).
2. In the following semester (e.g., the 118-1 semester), the materials shall first be reviewed by the relevant Domain Committee and then submitted to the General Education Committee for confirmation. If the review is not approved, an external review shall be conducted by at least three external reviewers with expertise in the relevant domain through a written review process.
3. Following the standards used for university department and graduate institute evaluations, external review results shall be classified as Approved, Under Observation, or Not Approved. For results other than Approved, review recommendations shall be provided. After confirmation by the relevant Domain Committee and the General Education Committee, teaching units requiring improvement shall report their implementation progress each academic year. For cases assessed as Not Approved, the matter shall be submitted to the President for approval of withdrawal from the program.
